I know, it's crazy, but with his smaller lower frame, he might last longer in the NFL as a WR than as a RB.

he will be a top 5 or top 10 pick, you dont really draft a tweener that high.

Reggie Bush?

And would you say he is working out up to his billing?

No one could ever live up to the billing he had.

Point is though, he has been relatively disappointing.

Im not too sure if GoFD was kidding about moving McFadden to WR but with the price that he will have, that would be incredibly foolish.

Read my post again...I said if I was his coach, I'd be TEMPTED to move him to WR, given his measureables. That's all I said.

i know you said that, and i was saying that you shouldnt draft a tweener that high. Therefore, although it may be tempting its probably in your best interests to avoid it.

1.) McFadden is not a tweener; he's simply an amazingly gifted athlete with multiple skill-sets. That's much different than being a tweener.

2.) By nature, most temptations are best avoided....I merely said given all that this guy has, the temptation to do such a thing would be strong on my end if I was his coach (would create incredible mismatches on outside).

I wouldn't really say avoid it, being a part time WR isn't a bad thing. Bush is a weapon that can get you from anywhere. Yes he was over hyped, but when he's on his game he's a bad mofo. Having that option with a RB is never a bad thing. Anything to make the defense second guess will always work to your favor.

I agree that he is an amazing athlete but still you play him as a RB. Put him out with the WR's now and again but dont make a habit of it.

That is what he has been saying for the past 10 mins!!!!
The WR's running routes was very interesting today. Two guys not on my radar, Devin Thomas and Jason Rivers, stood out catching the ball.
"Some wide receivers also having good interviews are Andre Caldwell of Florida, Lavelle Hawkins of Cal-Berkely, Adrian Arrington and Mario Manningham of Michigan, Lorne Sam of U.T.E.P. Eddie Royal of Virginia Tech, Jordy Nelson of Kansas State and Devon Bess of Hawaii....Guys who may have stumbled a little bit in interviews include Adarius Bowman of Oklahoma State, Mario Urrutia of Louisville, Marcus Monk of Arkansas and Early Doucet of L.S.U."
