give me groves for our first pick. his 40 wasnt too bad. i think he'll be a great addition for our pass rush. what did he measure when he came in?
I bet Groves can fall to our second pick.
i dont know...with him rising and merling somewhat falling, u still think groves is a sure fire second rounder?? i wouldnt risk it. i say we just pick him with our first pick.
Maybe, I'm just not sold on him. I watched some youtube video on him where some reporter was interviewing him and Groves said he just relies on his speed to get around the lineman and doesn't really need his strength. That won't work in the NFL. Kinda reminds me of Quinton Moses from last year.

The more and more I look at things, and the different things I hear about FA, I have a feeling we will be going back to the 4-3! Briggs and Justin Smith don't really fit a 3-4. I think one of these two will be a 49er.
So far in today's coverage I really like DE/DT Trevor Laws, DE/OLB Chris Ellis, and I know he's big and needs to cut atleast 15-20 lbs, but I still like DT Frank Okam.

At 252!!!!!
I thought he was down in the 230's. He's gotta love Chilie's Chicken Fried Steak...all that wonderful gravey....hmmmmm...he's just gotta.

we'll see how fluid he is in running linebacker drills. and about his speed, im sure singletary would fix that attitude and make sure he works. but manny lawson didnt have too much strength either and it was his speed that allowed him to do well in college.

Just blown away by Chris Long's athleticism...he just ran one of the shuttle drills, and stays so low to the ground while keeping his quickness.
I might be overstating the case here, but I can't see how Miami wouldn't pick this guy #1 overall to build their new defense around.
