HOWEVER, I would trade our first rounder for him in a second. He's a young franchise QB.

And I don't play Madden.

You should start. I would trade a 3rd, 4th, JTO for Cutler and a 5th. Str8 rape

they would take it only if JTO was out of the deal. Hey what do you think we could get for JTO right now?

Smith over Cutler ??? Are you kidding?
Smith might be better than Hill IF he improves every aspect of his game a bunch,a BIG bunch (a HUGE if,to say the least). But Cutler is so much better than Smith in every way that I believe you must be joking (I hope).
Cutler will supposedly get better at his decision making but he has all the tools and can actually play NFL football, unlike Alex (so far, when healthy).

Whoever thinks Cutler is a bad QB is a freaking moron. He's got a touch of Bret Farve in him (picks) , but he's got a rocket arm, accurate and a PROBOWLER!
I would give up any combination of players on are team for Cutler. Exept Willis.

Remind me where Alex Smith was selected in the draft. Remind me how old he is. Remind me what situation he has had to play under.

I still think Alex can play and has a career ahead of him.

Meanwhile, Cutler has been in a solid system, with a solid supporting cast and an excellent coach. And what has he shown in his crap division? An epic choke job? He finished last season like a loser.

......ok I tried to keep a straight face.

Have you seen Cutler play? He is a terrible decision maker. He'd be a disaster on the 49ers. We don't have anything near Brandon Marshall, a receiver that bails Cutler out each and every game.

I don't like Cutler's attitude and I don't like the way he plays.

He played for a WCO team. That offense highlights the bad decisions. here all he would have to do was throw accurately down the field.

He would fit our system better than Shaun Hill, for example.

Talent wise, he is better than anything we have at QB. The problem is, he knows he has a strong arm and he tries to use it to make throws that everyone outside of him knows are impossible. The end result is usually an INT.

If Alex Smith can restructure his deal and show that his arm is healthy, I like him more than Cutler. He is an intelligent decision maker and deserves a chance to show that he was worth the #1 pick.

Yeah, so intelligent that he holds on to the ball for 5 seconds when he should know, after 30 starts, that he has only 3 seconds to throw it.

And Cutler should know not to throw all the way across the field into triple coverage with the game on the line when you're already in field goal position and can win with 3 points.
This thread is a non-issue since it is clear that the Broncos are looking for a QB in return and not necessarily draft picks. I don't think they're going to be too enamored with JTO, Hill or Smith.

That being said, i'd be more than happy to give our 1st round draft pick.

Hes pretty good imo, but the only problem is he has diabetes, and have to take shots and monitor his diabetic during games.. Thats probably why he so inconsistent.

I'll take Cutler's 54td's, 37 picks, 9000 yards and 62% completion percentage over Alex Smith's 19 td's, 31 picks, 4600 yards and 54% completion percentage any day of the week. As would all rational 49ers fans who don't have a crush on Alex.
