McDaniels & Denver are complete idiots why p**s off your franchise QB who is on the verge of being one of the top 3-4 QB's in the league

They were pretty sure they would be able to make that trade.

But why would they even want to, most NFL experts said Cassel was more a product of great coaching, great talent around him, & the system in place. What would Cutler have looked like in Cassel's place last year he would have set the league on fire

i would take alex smith n shaun hill over cutler any day of da week!!!!

It's either he gets traded now or he will not re-sign when his current contract is up, simple as that. Once a "franchise" quarterback feels betrayed by his team, especially one in transition, he is going to want out. If it was up to me, I would do WHATEVER it takes to get him here. Still tons of upside, fierce competitor, one of the strongest arms in the league...just an all around talent.

I hate seeing other teams making moves and actually taking chances on improving their franchise in KEY positions while we sit on our hands.

Wow he threw a pick. At least he got a chance to throw a pick in a game that actually meant something. We can only wish.

I'll go find some highlights of Hill, Alex or Jt. throwing picks in games with playoff implications..... this could take awhile.

Cutler is overrated. He makes poor decisions on the regular. I'd rather have Alex Smith with a strong rushing attack.

You my friend are nuts if you really think that

"My understanding at this point is they're trying to trade me," Cutler told Mike Klis of the Denver Post. "We'll see where I end up at. I liked it here, I liked playing with these guys but obviously they're not going to let me have that opportunity."

Past tense. I liked it here.

And there's more.

"I'm upset," Cutler said. "I mean I'm really shocked at this point. I could see why they want [Matt] Cassel. I don't know if they think I can't run the system or I don't have the skills for it. I just don't get it. Or if they don't think they can sign me with my next contract. I just don't know what it is. I've heard I'm still on the trading block."

Coach Josh McDaniels questions the accuracy of Cutler's sources.

"We don't want to trade Jay," McDaniels told Klis. "We never did. He's our quarterback. We're excited about this season. And excited about what we're doing here in free agency to improve our team."

But, really, what else could McDaniels say? If they can't trade Cutler, they need to move forward.

What is it again they say about the best laid plans of mice and men?

With solid pass protection, I don't think Alex Smith will turn the ball over very often. The same cannot be said for Cutler. He'll pass up the wide open target to bomb it down the field into double and triple coverage. He is a turnover machine. I like Cutler's ability, I just don't like his attitude or his decision making ability. He is sort of like an Andre Smith for me.
Denver would never trade Cutler for less than a #1 pick. It just makes me laugh when people think we could get him for a 3rd and trh or something stupid like that.

Cutler is a stud and I would gladly give up a #1 and #4 for him. There is only 1 way that would happen. That is if Stafford was there when we pick and Denver thinks he has more upside. I like Stafford a LOT but I would make that deal today, tomorrow, and any day of the week.
No way, denver won't do that, but if he was to be on the block we should not trade for a qb who doesn't have a winning record, jay cutler sucks, he can throw the ball far and that's all he's worth, doesn't even have a winning record
