Out of Mack, Cooper and Gabe Jackson...I think Jackson might be the odd man out on an extension.

Why, there's nothing that really says he'll end up here. Just tons of speculation, I don't think he's even a top 10 QB.

Damnnnnnnnnnnn
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Carr and the Raiders agreed to terms on a five-year extension worth $125 million on Thursday, which would make him the highest-paid player in league history.
Tom Pelissero of USA Today reported Carr's deal includes $70 million in guarantees with $40 million guaranteed at signing.
He now currently eclipses Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck, who averages nearly $24.6 million annually, per Spotrac.
The news comes as little surprise. With the exception of the Cleveland Browns, no other NFL team has struggled more than the Raiders to find a franchise QB. Since Rich Gannon's Pro Bowl season in 2002, 17 quarterbacks started at least one game for Oakland prior to the team selecting Carr in the 2014 draft, per Pro-Football-Reference.com.

My gut tells me one day Lombardi trophy #4 for the Raiders will be won with Carr as QB. Maybe not this season, but (unless injuries intervene) eventually. Congrats to the Raiders for finding their guy at QB. I only hope the 49ers can find their next guy soon. It's been almost 20 years since we had that guy.

I was about to interject with "wtf are you talking about 20 years?! What about........." and then I realized it actually has been that long.

Depends how he does next season. If he wins a playoff game, absolutely. If he falls off, he'll be worth less.

It would be funny to see the Raiders suck this year to see how their fans handle it. Especially when 95.7 is talking about winning to Super Bowl.
Don't think that will happen though.

Man, can they at least talk about winning their division first? The media hyping up the Raiders too much. All of their wins from last year were from non playoff teams except for Houston, which beat them in the playoffs. Their schedule is def harder this year. The AFC West is not a sure lock for any of the teams.
