Man, can they at least talk about winning their division first? The media hyping up the Raiders too much. All of their wins from last year were from non playoff teams except for Houston, which beat them in the playoffs. Their schedule is def harder this year. The AFC West is not a sure lock for any of the teams.

Don't think that will happen though.
Some serious homerism going on there. I know they were pretty handicapped with Carr out last postseason but try winning A playoff game first.

A team that completely wet the bed when their QB got hurt is going to win the Super Bowl? LMAO yes I know Carr is a stud and losing him was a huge blow, but if a team was a true contender/lock to win SB team they could've shown some kind of fight against a Brock Osweiler led/ JJ Watt less Texans team. why is everyone assuming Lynch is going to pick up where he left off? In fact wasn't his last season with the SeaThots a bad one and filled with injuries? Who knows maybe he does go back to 2013 Lynch but seems very premature to automatically believe he will. Defense is still weak . Crabtree is the softest WR in NFL history, he will always be remembered by getting called out by Richard Sherman in front of the world and getting his chain ripped off by Aqib Talib. It's going to be hilarious to watch their delusional fans & 9.57 fall back down to earth when they get eliminated. Vegas 2019 baby!
edit: now that I think about it, makes sense why 9.57 would go to full homer mode. They're about to lose their flag ship team in 2 years, they have to keep the fanbase interested somehow

I hate to admit this, but I hope good fortune to the Raiders. Good luck, boys.

And they sure as hell had some seahwaks type luck with some of those wins. The botched snap for SD. The luck against the Panthers. The call to go for 2 in the opener and probably some other moments. Just about everything went their way last year except the carr injury

Super Bowl talk is a little premature for the Raiders. Objectively speaking, their fans have every reason to be excited, but a helluva lot would have to go wrong with the Patriots and Steelers for the Raiders to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl. They are still the third best team in the conference, above all but the Pats and Steelers, so it could happen.

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet
Uh oh: #Raiders standout LT Donald Penn is not reporting for training camp, source said. He's unhappy with his contract.
You buy a more expensive Carr, you end up having to pay more for insurance as well.

A "lock" for the Super Bowl?
Good grief this team's media coverage and fanbase is turning into the Seahawks' real quick.

It will be great for Las Vegas to have a team and exciting for that city. But of course it is a big loss for Oakland. But I think having the NFL in Las Vegas is great.
