Shanahan has already said that he will not be replacing his DC. The Niners need to have stability and consistency. So., NO

Not one to typically defend the Raiders, but this isnt too uncommon. Happened in Indy today too.
NFL is one cold business. a couple of years ago it was #chuckstrong now they fired him as soon as the game ended.

Crabtree, Bowman, and Kap helped us get to the Super Bowl! I will never forget what those guys did for us, even though they came up just short.
Look at the way they left though. You don't remember all of Crabtree's finger pointing and how he checked out when the team experienced some turmoil? Or how Sherman kept punking him, and calling both the team and Crabtree weak, and he just took it. He didn't fight back. I was so done with Crabtree when he left. And now reports are the Raiders are going to cut him in the offseason.
Because of the protest stuff, fans seem to have totally forgotten how smug Kaepernick got towards the end. He hadn't played great football in years, and was repeatedly criticized for not studying enough film, and being unprofessional with the media.
And obviously with Bowman, he let his pride cloud his judgement, and thought he was bigger than the team. It was all about HIS legacy, and how he deserved to play full time, even though it was hurting the team. Then he wanted to be traded, and was creating a bad locker room vibe.
All these guys were good Niners, until they weren't, and it was on them.

If they really are offering ownership stake I think he goes
