I just read somewhere that as soon as Seattle let go of Cable, Gruden was immediately contacting him and was "all in" hiring the douche. Ole Chucky at his introduction presser said more than once he'll do whatever it takes to win, by the rules. Translation - he'll employ shady characters, both players and coaches, who aren't currently under investigation for anything but certainly could be at any given moment.

They should have tried harder to get Harbaugh. Now that would be entertaining!

I can't believe they didn't get Foster. Good for us but some of my raider friends were pretty disappointed. They even took another risky pick with Conley.

Yup, when it was their turn to pick, I was for sure they were going to take Foster. Now majority of Raider fans are upset RM didn't take him including my raider buddies.

Raiders working out Leon Hall. If anything happens there I guess they have the 2008 Bengals secondary.

Las Vegas Raiders also just signed Leon Hall, former 49er.

Gruden brought him to the raiders as the senior defensive assistant. Makes sense. lol
They released their TE Walford? We should bring him in!

Greg Cosell believes O'Neil has one of the most creative minds in the NFL. I don't see the issue having him on a staff somewhere if he's not the playcaller.

Its possible for someone to be a good assistant coach while not being suited to call plays the same way it is possible for someone to be a great playcaller while not being cut out to be a HC.

The scheme O'Neil tried to run might have worked theoretically but was clearly problematic in action. The guy can still be an asset in the film room.
