Honestly, there is no real rivalry between the Raiders and Niners anymore, not with the current schedule system. We see them once every 4 years(I think), and I don't know. I don't feel like I'm betraying the Niners at all by liking the Raiders.

Of course, my allegiance to the Red and Gold is unquestionable, but I just can't help but to cheer for the Raiders on Sundays.

Also I live in the bay, so I kinda have an excuse to like all the bay teams.

No really though I don't hate the raiders. Their fans are really annoying but as much as I hate to say it, their fans are way more into it and down for their team than ours. Go to a raider home game and you would think they just won the super bowl even though they are 2-14 or some crap. Go to our home game and the stands are half empty or you see a ton of opposing fans. I wish we were more die hard.

Now that Russell isn't starting, I have some support for the Raiders. How can you not like guys like Murphy, Bush/Fargas, their new starting QB, Seymour, and other defensive players?

The new QB shows flashes of Jeff Garcia.

Agree with this. Gradkowski got me almost 40 points in my fantasy league this week

You started Gradkowski against the Steelers on the road??? Do you have a crystal ball? Can I get the lottery numbers please?

lol i had no choice. i have Matt Ryan as my starter and he's out with turf toe, and my only other options were Derek Anderson or Trent Edwards who are not even starting, so i picked up Gradkowski. I had to bite the bullet and do it. Fortunately it worked out in my favor.

When I was living in Chicago, I used to catch 9er games at a local Steelers bar and everyone there was really cool; I think that's why I sorta root for them sometimes. However, that being said, big Ben comes off like a douche

Yeah that would be really humiliating IMO. On one hand it'd be good if they had a better-same record as us though because we'd have a higher pick than them, but on the other hand I'd have to hear about it all offseason. I still always hope we're better than the Raiders, but I dunno.

I went to the Niners-Raiders preseason game in Oakland, I think last year... totally different atmosphere than at the 'Stick... especially if you're a visiting fan.

Yeah no kidding. Raider fans are retarded but they have heart and ALL of the raider tard popsicles come out in droves and root for their team no matter how bad they are.

I seriously hate watching our stadium on TV. You see either:

a) Empty stands until 3rd quarter
b) Way too many opposing team fans.


I just dont get it. We dont suck worse than the Raiders do. We have more rings.

Maybe our fans actually have jobs though...
