Two people reported that Raiders QB JaMarcus Russell returned to Oakland and tipped the scales at 290 pounds. At least he was under 3 bills.

JaMarcus Russell reportedly weighed in at 290 pounds when he reported for the Raiders' offseason program. So Oakland can scratch left tackle off its list of needs. Russell was initially reported to weigh 271, but many close to the situation immediately doubted that report. Russell, annually and incredibly overweight, isn't doing anything to shed his emerging label as the biggest bust in NFL history.

JaMarcus Russell has all the talent in the world he could have easily been a top 10 QB but he simply doesn't care. The moment he got paid he retired.

Tom Cable gave Russell a DVD, it was the game plan on how to attack the Chiefs, Cable told Russell to watch it.... The next day Cable asked Russell what he thought about the game plan and Russell told him it was great and he was on board... The DVD was blank... Tom Cable gave Russell a blank DVD to see if Russell was even doing his homework.

The next week Russell was benched.

what a waste.

The Raiders should just cut this dude and no team should even try signing this guy plenty of guys who work their ass off trying to make a team and then you have a chump like this. This is sad

You can't make stuff like that up lol
LOL! Love all the **** on Russell. I remember when he was drafted, the Oakland fans I knew were saying how he was gonna be the QB to take them to the Playoffs and SB. Now, even their own fans can't stand him. Next to Leaf, JMR is the biggest bust in the NFL. Like was mentioned before, once he signed that huge contract, he retired.
what the f**k? he seems like he just doesn't care

I gotta give my one homie raider fan some credit. They guy I know that runs the sidelines and locker rooms of Oakland's games, the one who gets me on the field, has said since day one "This franchise will never do anything with that POS under center". I, in amazement to a raider fan not liking one of their own, instantly questioned him. He couldn't say enough about how he's just a big fat POS that will never amount to anything, blah blah blah. He's literally the only raider fan I've ever heard say that from day one.

Nobody thought he was going to be bad when he was drafted. Oakland needed a QB and he was the best QB available- deal with it.

Why don't you rip on some of the other first overall QBs who sucked; Alex Smith, David Carr

not even close to a valid comparison. Smith and Carr at the very least put forth effort. Russell is a fat lazy lop of s**t with a peanut brain.
