I guarantee the raiders will not play better next week.
It's their bye week.

Troy smith went across the Atlantic and won a game with just about as much time. The Raiders threw 6 picks at home
Okayy... but Troy Smith had signed early in the year (September?) and didn't start or see action until late October early November? That's a lot more time to digest the play book and "watch the film" lol

he was 3rd string behind david carr he didn't get any reps in hardly. theres no excuse for shipping away your top draft picks and having him come in and chuck 3 picks like that

I don't know how much Palmer has left but I expect him to play better than today. Still, I am very glad the 49ers did not make a move to get him. I never thought he was worth even a single 1st round pick much less the possibility of more picks.

Raiders would have been better giving Pryor a shot.

Game planning sucked arse, Raiders went pass happy with back up QBs when they used to manage the game when they had a starter QB

I don't think anyone in that game was going to give it a better shot.

Palmer will do just fine. You can't expect a QB to just come in and gel with his new receivers in 3 days.

No way he should have been playing, terrible coaching job by Hue Jackson.

If mcfadden isn't playing then the raiders are going nowhere fast. I could even see the chiefs catching up to them.

LOL at HC Jackson's press conference afterwards. He sounds more like a salesperson than a coach. Even the many fans to texted their frustration to CSN don't believe it.
Carson does have an excuse because he doesn't know playbook well yet (only 10% his words). But he's an established pro that the Raiders traded two high draft picks for. From the replays I've seen, looks like he either forced the throws in there or mis-read the WR route. Doesn't look like he's tried to stay in shape physically and wonder if the mental mistakes will get to him knowing he's got a ton of pressure on him to perform at an elite level really soon.
As for Boller, he had his chance, shows why he should've never been a starter and will be a forever back up. No surprise here. And after losing McF to an injury, their passing and running attack have both gone down the tubes. Good luck finishing above .500 for the season...sucks to be them.

And no help coming in the draft. Not sure even Al would have paid out that much.

This was a good weekend with the raiders getting humiliated and the lions losing again.
