Okayy... but Troy Smith had signed early in the year (September?) and didn't start or see action until late October early November? That's a lot more time to digest the play book and "watch the film" lol

he was 3rd string behind david carr he didn't get any reps in hardly. theres no excuse for shipping away your top draft picks and having him come in and chuck 3 picks like that

Obviously they gave up WAYY too much and I'd be hard pressed to find anyone to justify that but all I'm saying is give him more than 4 days to get in a groove. You cant honestly believe a QB coming out of retirement could sufficiently extract as much info as a third string QB (Troy Smith) with a playbook and extended time (a month and some change) in team headquarters, practice, lunch, etc.?

Still a stupid move...They gave up way too much imo. Iirc, the Raiders dont have any pick in the first 4 rounds of the upcoming draft.

i was hoping greenbay lost. i want a playoff bye! dallas isnt gonna be relevant in january so im not even worried about those losers

ya i know but it would be awesome to be the 1 seed and u never know whats gonna happen down the line with wins and losses. the saints could get in the chase too for the 1 seed

Raiders have a strong run game but the run game alone doesn't score enough TD's to repeatedly win games. To this point, the Raiders have manufactured points with "trick" plays. It worked great for Hue Jackson in Pittsburgh when, at that time, PIT was known for throwing in a trick play or two per game.

All I can say is that when the trick plays stop working, Hue Jackson won't be looking all that great.

if they had a strong run game, then there is no need to trick anyone..therefore their run game is suspect.
