That guy always gave 100% and was a great lineman. It is too bad injuries caught up with him.

At least he retired before it was too late. I went to Antioch High for a couple of years and didn't know that he went there.

Yeah, I always liked Newberry. I was upset when he went to Oakland. Great player though, wish him well in his future.

As bad as his knees were I can't believe he made it this long. I am sure he probably will need knee replacement surgery by the time he is 50.
