damn man. he was a great. i loved his coaching style. i'm sure he was a excellent person as well.

R.I.P.
I loved the way he would call up his blitz schemes. I always wanted the niners to have a DC like him. RIP
He was special. I always dreaded his defensive schemes when he played the 49ers.

RIP.
Rip genious. i always loved watching his defense play dallas.
Great great defensive coach . Very sad.
He was rumored to be in consideration to be the 49ers Head Coach at one point. I believed he pulled himself out of consideration. We hired Nolan instead.
He's up there with Dick LeBeau as far as innovative DCs.

yeah LeBeau and Johnson were some of my top favorite DC's i was upset to hear about this.

It'd be fun to be a DC for a football team
Few people realize how much of a genius this guy was. I was so f**king pissed today that on ESPN they reported the Favre story and the Plaxico s**t before they talked about Jim Johnson. Completely disrespectful.

RIP Jim
Even though he had nothing to do with the niners in his career he was one of the greats of all time on the defensive side.........alot of coordinators should take a page from this guys book.

R.I.P Jim Johnson
