That is a bummer about Wells. Maybe having Crabtree sit out a few practices isn't the worst thing. At least he is not in danger of getting hurt.

Wow, talk about living up to the reputation
Which is why I was laughing. Dude got hurt like EVERY game. Then goes in the 1st round.
Since you seem to know so much about "dude"...tell me this...
How many games did he miss in his entire college career?
Playing through those injuries must not be an attribute you like to acknowledge...?
But wait...YOU're the one who brought it up, so you kinda stuck your foot in your mouth.
3 in 3 years!
But....

Let's count how many second halves he didn't play. I'll start with one,the concussion he had in the second half against Texas. Did he even play in the second quarter? How many fourth quarters did he miss? The missing 3 games stat is a joke.

Exactly. He didn't miss many full games but man could he be negated in to the second half just by popping him in the first. He is the king of the nagging injury. He's mentally tough enough to suit in pain, but his body just won't hold together for him.
His nickname should be Chris "Balsa" Wells.

I hope Wells has a good career for the Cardinals, but you can't ignore the nagging injuries he has had almost his entire college career,IMO.
Yes,it's true he didn't miss many games. It's also true that after many hits,he slowly got up and limped off the field, taking the rest of the series off,or at least a few plays in a row.
It's hard for an OL to get into a rhythm when your star RB can't stay on the field for an entire half without taking off multiple series of downs..
My personal favorite

I wish the hell you people would just leave Christine alone and give her a chance.
Ok...
First of all, you can't exactly use the concussion as an example of him being "injury prone."
Second, how many of those examples are games in which the Buckeyes were up 30 plus points...?
And finally, you're kidding yourself (and/or don't follow the Buckeyes closely enough to know) that many of the decisions to keep Beanie out weren't HIS decisions...rather Tressel's or the trainer's.

Hightower is the starter and the guy we should be worried about IMO
Hightower is a savage. Mark my words.
Dude is gonna be a problem.
and willis is the answer!
Exactly. I guess most people don't remember that highttower went 13 carries for 22 yards against last year in the MNF game.....
And even if this beanie dude gets healthy, he ain't gonna do s**t against us.
Its just warner and fitz we gotta worry about.

These weren't my quotes. But quotes from fans who do follow the buckeyes. If one of us is kidding ourselves on this topic, i'm thinking it's not me.
Speaking of putting a foot in your mouth.

Any way you slice it, Wells was an injury concern in college and that's continuing. I seem to remember every injury he had in college seemed like a major thing when it happened, only to hear later that it wasn't a major injury...Same thing as here.
That certainly says something, good or bad.
