Peterson will be missed, he brought pressure from every place on the field. He was a problem for us. The other player I'm worried about is Patrick Kearney. He is a beast and plays with such a motor, we have never be able to stop him. Yes, Houch is good but their offense is not to the same level as Arizona. If we can find a way to slow down Arizona, we should be able to slow down Seattle.

I think Seattle is hugely underrated on this board. They are getting several key guys back from injury and added Housh, so I do think they will push for the division title this year. They won't be pushovers.

But I can't say they'll have the best D in the NFC West. Not even on paper imo.

So because Steve Young had his best years with the 9ers, he's not allowed to say that some other team in the NFC West might have a better defense than the 9ers? He's now working for ESPN, not the 9ers, and I'm pretty sure that his job description at ESPN does not include him being a homer for his former team.
