With B.J. RAIJI signing with the packers, Crabtree got to make the nex move and sign a deal with incentives.

B.J. Raji agrees to deal with Packers
Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on August 13, 2009 7:58 PM ET
Packers holdout B.J. Raji has stopped waiting for Michael Crabtree.

The ninth overall pick of the draft has reached an agreement in principle with the Packers, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. The contract must be reviewed, but Raji is expected to sign it on Friday when he arrives in Green Bay.

Terms of the contract are not known yet, but it's expected to be a five-year deal.

Raji's holdout lasted nearly two weeks, which will slow his assimilation to Green Bay's 3-4 defense. He was expected to start at defensive end before eventually transitioning to nose tackle, but will have to play catchup once he arrives in camp.

Once Raji signs, there will be four remaining first-round holdouts. Raji's deal could help speed things along for Jaguars tackle Eugene Monroe, who was taken one spot before Raji.

Hopefully before the weekend somes to a close he smears a contract with ink.
Well, at least that is one less person who will blame Crabtree for his own holdout........

Now we still have to wait for Andre Smith and Ayers.
My wife, the born and bread cheese-head from Green Bay, is going to be happy when she hears this. I would like to think this will have a positive effect on Crabtree signing with the 9ers, but I don't think it's going to shake out that way. I hate to say it, but I don't think he's going to sign until he absolutely has to and that'll be just before the first regular season game - I sure hope I'm wrong on this one.

na man, Ayers signed a while back...

It's

6) Andre Smith
8) Eugene Monroe
10) Michael Crabtree
11) Aaron Maybin

Maybin will NOT sign until Crabtree does, unless the Bills offer slated number 10 money (in which case it'd be a deal too good to pass up for Maybin as Raji is fairly comparable contract-wise as a d-lineman)
ROOKIE CAP!!!!
