How did Ari's starters look against Pitts' starters?

I didn't catch the beggining of the game...

Is Ari lookin good?
offensively they looked good with warner

their defense was having trouble getting the right personnel on the field
right on cuzzo... Is it safe to say our D and ST will be better than theirs... but they may have the slight edge on Offense?
their offense converted several third and longs in a row on one drive. They seemed to be very smooth in their executions of bubble screens and plays of that sort. They really didn't look to rusty with Warner in there.

definitely on offense

I can't say much about their defense, only person that really made a play was Dansby.

I didn't see the first half, but I am reading on the Arizona board that Kurt Warner has a bad hip and it seemed he was in obvious pain...mobility being an issue. He's a great passer...when he has a pocket to throw from. Against a strong rushing team, he could take a pounding. I don't know how much more of a beating Warner can take before he calls it quits. That o-line had better hold up if they want to see Warner last the entire season. The way I see it, if Warner is out and Leinart is in, Arizona's prospects grow considerably dim.

Here's a link to the Arizona board discussing Warner:

I was just going to post post something about this very topic. Their offense will give us problems. They were always in either three or four WR sets. I don't think we have the DB's to match up with them when they go into those 4 WR sets. Pressure is going to be the key and force some bad throws. Their running is fair but nothing special. On the defensive side, they blitzed a lot, but when they did the center of the field was wide open. Since they are now running the 3-4, when they blitzed all four LB's brought pressure and it left the center open. Our offense will have success by running sceens early and using two TE sets and control the center of the field. It looked as though their defense isn't as good as last year when they were a 4-3 team. Dockett who caused so much trouble as a DT is out a 3-4 end and didn't cause as many problems.

Offense looked good, there is an expected effort to run the ball more with Whizenhunt calling the plays. He's a great play caller, expect gadget plays more this year. Defensively not much different, so-so. There's nothing to lead me to beleive that will change. Basically when Warner gets hurt they'll be in trouble.
all we need to do is hurt the old man warner and we'll be fine....

I agree with your accessment. I hope that Singletary and manusky find a way to put pressure on Warner or we will need those turnovers or it will be a long day.

I accually watched the game twice. thier offense looked good butstill needs some fine tuning but that is there strong point. and it will only get better. Warner is a concern because he was hurting and if he continues to play in the preseaon and takes a hard hit he may be out for the opening game. if i was them i would sit warner and let him heal and let the 2 back ups duke it out for the second job. i think they both suck personally. matt L needs to get his stuff together or he will be # 3.
Our defense is very much stronger there thiers. ours will be more agressive and thier D will be making mistakes since they are now in the first year of a new scheam. we have the advantage of already plaing in the 3-4. warner is the big X factor. if he is healthy we have a Big game on our hands. if he isnt then weshould ahve the adavatage
