watching the 1st episode of Hard Knocks with the Bengals.....they have their coach go a players room at 5:30 a.m. to tell him he is being cut, and that the bus will be there at 7 am to take him to the airport

the player, JD Runnels, former Oklahoma fullback, was upset and the coach had to close door to the cameras to continue to talk to him

damn that was cold

And we are upset at Crabtree. The corporations get away more with being d******ds. But then again, they have earned that position.

That was totally classless, but I guess you should expect that sort of thing from the Bungles.

It was done in a jacked up manner. Completely unprofessional and totally classless. I would have fired the fat ass who delivered the news in that manner. There is a way to do things and there is a way to not do things. That pretty much sums up the Bengals organization. s**tty from the top down.
while the 49ers are doing battle with michael crabtree and his agent to get them to accept the long accepted slotting system for rookie salaries, in Cincinnati the agent for andre smith is fighting the same battle, trying to get the bengals to accept the slotting system...seems the bengals do not want to give andre smith what he would be due under the slotting system, a contract somewhere between the 5th and 7th pick

it is worth noting for both crabtree and his agent and the bengals that every 1st rd pick signed has taken a salary within the slotting parameters

crabtree's holdout makes little sense, but andre smith's holdout does

guesees on who will sign 1st, smith or crabtree?

Yeah even though Jerry Jones is an arrogant SOB he at least took the time to sit with the Player and actually would offer positive words even though there were being cut.

But other than that, that motherf**ker is an idiot.

Publicity Stunt for the Show
i don't know, they look pretty hot to me....

The also don't want to pay Andre Smith the money that falls in line with the 5th pick. They want to pay him something closer to like pick 7, which is why Smith is holding out. What a retarded organization they are.
