2nd Best NFL QB of All-Time?

If I said all time best we all knew who would win, so I figure this would be a more interesting poll and discussion. No offense to the leather helmet era, but I only used
players who at least played into the 70s. Except for Tittle as he was a Niner and a lot of you saw him play. Anyone naming "other" please comment.
After much thought I took Marino.

If any quarterback is ever mentioned in the same breath as Joe Montana, its almost always Johnny Unitas. I of course never saw him play though.

From everything I read, before Montana came along, Unitas was the "Montana" of that era and had the respect of all NFL fans.

I started watching football during the LONG end of his career. The last half dozen years of his career he missed many a game because of injury, and only had one good
year in that span. Even though he would go in my top 5, watching him hang on way too long tainted his legacy. His last year with the Chargers was down right sad.
Elway went out on top and Marino only stayed one year too long, that puts them ahead of him in my opinion.

I excluded players from the leather helmet days, because not many of us are old enough to remember them, and there isn't much game film to watch on TV.
