LMFAO the amount of homerism is ridiculous! STEVE YOUNG IS NOT THE SECOND GREATEST QB OF ALL TIME! Theres a much better case for Johnny U, Tom Brady, Baugh and Otto Graham.

I think homerism and youth are dominating the early voting.

Don't care. Steve Young would be upset if he found out I didn't vote for him.

I would have to say it's between Marino and Manning for me. Peyton may very well be the best pure passer I have ever seen. One of the smartest as well. He was/is being handicapped by lack of a defense. They won it all the one year his defense actually showed up and played slightly above average.
Yea Joe has 4 superbowl rings and was cool under pressure when the game was on the line. But if Tom Brady and Terry Bradshaw doesn't get mentioned because of their superbopwl wins (on this board) Then Joe shouldn't be #1 because of his.
Peyton Manning has basically been calling/choosing his plays for his entire career. probably the most accurate passer i've ever seen. Probably the smartest too. His lack of Lombardi trophies can't be all be put on him. I wouldn't argue with anyone who said he was the best. So to answer the question at hand. I'll take peyton manning as #2.

Elway wouldn't even get a vote if he didn't have those great teams around him his last 2 years.
It's easier to rack up comebacks when you put your teams behind in the first 3 qtrs.

Honestly, I would have to say Brady, what he has done with that lack of WR's and RB's, and what he did when he got a WR...is just amazing, and 3 SB's.
But I still hate the b*****d

Of that list, Unitas has to be up there.

I loved watching Young and he is my #4 or 5 but #2 has to be Marino.

Another thing about Marino is he had no running game behind him his whole career.
In spite of that his only off season was his last. The rest of the guys on the list either struggled early in their careers or hung on too long. He was great right out of the gate
and to the finish. That makes him edge out the others for the #2 slot if you consider
a person's whole career.

I don't agree with Marino as the #2 greatest. Yes he's probably the greatest passer in history but not as an overall QB. Plus the no superbowl hurts too. To me the #2 best is Unitas, he was Montana before Montana.
Why is Namath on this list? He's one of the most overrated QB's ever
