I don't think Favre tried to make that dirty block, it's not like he's out there blocking everyday.

If you are going to put a QB in that situation, you better let him know what he can or cannot do. It's on the coaches as much as it's on Favre.

I agree - it was especially stupid of the coaches considering Favre is playing with cracked ribs in the first place.
It was a dirty block imo (and extremely dangerous, stupid, etc), but I don't think this one play makes Favre a dirty player - he's played too long to change my opinion of him after a single play. I just don't think they should have asked him to block in the first place.
