This happens a lot with hold outs. They are not in the same condition as everyone else and they jump in, try to make up for lost time, and hurt themselves. It is my number one concern with the Crabtree hold out. Okay, maybe number two behind the very slight chance that he never signs.

NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports that Smith will be off the field for only 7-10 days, and should be fully back in the mix within two weeks.

Days he can't afford to miss because he's missed so much already.

IF thats the case its not broken then. I haven't heard anyone coming back from a broken foot and practicing in 7-10 days and fully healed in 2 weeks. either he is wrong or andre smith is Wolverine.

I am not sure of this karma you speak. He had every reason to hold out. Would you take less money than someone who was valued less than you?

Stress fracture
A crack in the bone if you will
Sports journalists like to blow s**t up whenever possible
Funny you mention Wolverine can’t remember who but one of the Michigan players played an entire season with a stress fracture in his leg and didn’t know it.
The only treatment is to rest and relieve the area of stress. Depending on which one of the 26 bones in his foot he cracked could be a few days or a few weeks depending on how much pain the big fatty can take.
