What is going on? It just shows how tough it is to find a good OC, we had one in Mike Martz.... Im pretty sure Martz will have an OC job next year.
Bucs, Bills and another team (I forget) fired their OC's before the first game of the season... Is the league really that bad???

Yeah it looks bad, it just shows how much pressure some of these coaches are under. I think it was a desperate move by Dick Jauron who is on the hot seat and I think Raheem Morris is just way in over his head as a NFL HC. I think Haley will be fine in KC and knew all along he wanted/would call plays.

Like one of these guys who are available now. They should have known.

Naw, just kidding around man...poking fun at some on this board. I'm surprised some moron hasn't actually tried to make this argument for real though, it wouldn't shock me in the least.

I had a feeling you were kidding, I know I certainly don't expect our front office people to be clairvoyant... though it would be nice

The Chief's look horrible and their only hope is Cassel who also looks lost.

I'd go so far as to say that all Morris, Haley, McDaniels are all going to struggle this season.

I reckon with the recent success of Sparano, Harbaugh and Smith owners are now more obliged to look at young coaching talent but imo this trend is going to crash once owners realizes that not every coach can make up for lack of experience.

The only coaching change that may pay off would be the Seahawks and maybe the Rams.
