TO is the better overall WR. And Randy Moss' career in Oakland seals it for me.
TO for sure

If Moss worked hard and was in TO-type of shape his whole career, he'd be running down more than a few of Rice's records; a lot more.
Moss is a freak but has the work ethic and discipline of Bubba Paris, Derrick Coleman and many, many others who had every opportunity to be greater than they actually were.
TO is no different than Rickey Watters: Talented but keeps screwing up because of the "me first" echoing in his head and out his mouth.
I'm glad both have a Super Bowl loss on their resumes. Hopefully, that's as close as they ever get.
All that being said, if they were both on the same draft board and it was our pick, I'd take Moss.

TO has had the better career and is the better WR. TO is one of the better blocking WRs in the league, even though he is a me first type of dude, he has always backed everything up on the field, and he is right, if you throw him the ball you usually win

TOs comeback and Super Bowl performance should be praised as one of the more impressive comebacks in the NFL. Ever. (9 receptions / 122 yards)
But he's done way too much to take away from the recogniton he deserves for it.

Moss didn't always have Owens' work ethic

TO had the better career, but Moss is the better receiver. Moss has the best jumping ability in the nfl, some of the best hands, some of the best routes, the best speed, some good evasiveness, etc. Moss is the best receiver 'body' in NFL history. TO is just an absolute physical freak who shouldn't be as big/strong/fast as he is; however he has a ton of drops and inconsistency.

Without even thinking too hard about it, Terrell Owens had to have had the better NFL career. TO has been productive EVERYWHERE hes been, can't say the same for Moss.
Man I miss Terrell Owens.

So far TO, but TO started 2 years earlier
TO in 14 seasons: 953 receptions, 14168 yards, 139 TDs
Moss in 12 seasons: 855 receptions, 13342 yards, 135
Each with 4 all pro selections, 6 pro bowl teams.
TO does more in the run game then Moss.
But Moss is in a better situation to keep playing at a top level and producing. I can't see TO doing much on Buffalo.

You bring up a good point. Now if this thread is saying "who's a better receiver", meh it would still be TO.
Brady and Moss have a lot more years to come to break more records.

Moss could beat jerry's career record if he plays for 5 more years w/ 12 or 13 TD's a year......... but Moss and Brady will be 37 by then.....
......i highly doubt it. but it's not impossible. especially if they play for more than 5 years.
