there are diffrent types of qbs.....
romo is like a steve young
he can do very special things but he needs help and the right system.
i dont think romo is the weak link, and to a lessor extent like young he brings things to the table that are hard to defend.
he is not a guy who makes the players around him better. he flat needs a t.o
compare romo with a hall of fame wr to romo with out and it becomes obvious.
