Rumor had it the Cards wanted a 1-3-5 this offseason for him so Edwards was obviously much cheaper although Boldin may have been had for less now possibly but not that much less.

Boldin would have been worth it, imo. Roy Williams cost the Boys two 1st rounders and him and Braylon are about as overrated as they come. Braylon came in a much cheaper deal but he's an inferior player to Boldin. Jets still came away with a better end of the deal over the Browns. Didn't Jets practically give away nothing to the Browns so the Jets could move up to get Sanchez?
If that is all the Jets gave up... I'm surprised the Cowgirls didn't try to get him.
i hope he sucks!
Cleveland wasn't big enough for King James and Braylon. After last Sunday nights fight Braylon had to go.

LeBron is more powerful than the mayor.

Wow....seemingly the Browns got the ass end of the deal. Only time will tell but seriously ?

Looks that way but then again Braylon is overrated IMO. If he is a cancer in the locker-room then might as well get something i guess. Browns are going to be rebuilding.

Braylon has poor hands, but he is a playmaker and has shown he can be a #1 WR. If the Browns could get steady QB play he could have put up big numbers as he has shown in the past.

As for getting a replacement in the 3rd...only 3 WR's since 2005 drafted from round 3 on, has gone over the 1000 yard mark. Chances are they won't replace him with a 2nd day pick however they did add 2 receivers this year in round 2 so if anything I can see them adding a veteran WR and using their draft picks to build the D.

Yeah he can be a number one is he gets his head on straight.. Ever since his PB year he has had locker room trouble, dropsies and trouble outside of football. yeah i guess if he gets his s**t right the jets win good points my bad

He has had the dropsies his entire career in Cleveland, it just became more apparent when his numbers dropped off after a bright start to his career.

-Braylon is an overrated douche.

-ND fans know he's been dropping balls long before his Cleveland days.

-The date of this trade is VERY interesting, indeed.

Roy Williams was dealt with a 2010 7th for a 1-3-6.

The Jets traded DE Kenyon Coleman, S Abram Elam, QB Brett Ratliff and their 1st and 2nd rounders (Coleman and Elam are starters in Cleveland) to move up for Sanchez.
Not suspicious, nope not suspicious at all.

I would've traded for Dwayne Bowe instead.

We didn't get trumped. We got the player we wanted and got him to agree to the salary we wanted and even got an extra year out of the whole thing. They traded for a decent WR that has a questionable attitude and bad hands and a big salary.

Hopefully we get their 4th in the tampering thing.
It's kind of funny that some people are thinking that the Browns would use the 3rd round pick from the Jets for a WR.. They do get picks of their own, do they not?

i actually think edwards is a solid receiver but you're right, bowe is a far better #1.
On the Jet's message boards, they seem to know that the draft picks are a 3rd and a 5th.
lmao

Rome takes on the situation: It took Lebron James 48 hours to get rid of Edwards and get him out of cleveland. lol.

Rome also said that the NFL is a copy cat league, so other disgruntled players may do something similar to get traded.

Examples: Matt Leinart punches someone in Steve Nash's crew to get traded

Tavaris Jackson punches someone in Kevin Love;s crew

Braylon has been s**t for them, the Jets are going to be pissed when he starts dropping everything in sight!
