IRVING, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys are planning a late afternoon news conference Monday to announce the signing of outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware, according to a source.
Ware led the NFL with 20 sacks last season and is considered one of the top defensive players in the game. Playing with a stress fracture in his left foot, Ware had two sacks in Sunday's victory against Atlanta and has four for the season.

I still don't understand what it means. I suspect that there should be a comma in there somewhere...maybe a hyphen.

No way Dumervil leaves Denver without resigning/franchise tag.
Suddenly Merriman is the best available 3-4 OLB. Rumor has it San Diego is done with him and won't negotiate. Out of all the 3-4 teams I could imagine Cleveland or San Francisco targeting Merriman.

The problem is you will overpay for an injured guy and Merriman is going to want a 1 year deal so he can get out of it and get a big contract when he is fully healthy.
