But minus Albert Haynesworth the team is essentially the same team that won 13 games last year. Not as crazy as it sounds really. Do i think they will ? No.

Actually, they are better. They lost Albert which hurts, but they improved their offensive personel greatly. Adding Nate Washington and Kenny Britt at WR, and drafting Jared Cook at TE who will be starting for them next season and for a decade to come! I think what has really hurt them is the coaching change. They lost their D-coordinator, and the whole defense just seems out of synch ever since.

But yeah, they have the players to make a run like that. Vince won like 9 games his rookie year when he took over for Collins, and he can do it again.

True that Cecil runs the D now and not Schwartz but Cecil was the DB's coach under Schwartz. They also promoted him over Dave McGinnis (who has prior experience in the NFL as a DC) because they were fearful another team would come along and offer him a DC position. Should be interesting to see if Cecil keeps the job past this season should Fisher not get the boot at years end.

I avoided bringing up the talent they did acquire just to make the point that essentially the starters are all the same (minus Haynesworth but + Washington). Britt is the slot receiver currently but he should soon steal Justin Gage's job.

As far as Jared Cook goes, he will be tough to keep OFF the field but they are also very high on Bo Scaife who will be a FA, so it will be interesting to see if they try to resign him.

I know they had high hopes for Cecil, but as much blame as the offense has gotten, it's really the defense that has not been in synch at all. I agree with you that Britt should take over for Gage soon. Britt's had a few big drops and I don't think they have full confidence in him yet. Gage has had a few MORE drops, but that seems to be ignored by the coaches a bit since he's "not a rookie".

They have been high on Scaife, and they do run a fair amount of 2-TE sets, so it wouldn't be bad to keep him. I don't think they will pay him what he is wanting - but I don't think anyone else will either. Either way I think Crumpler is gone next year, Cook starts, and Bo will be the back-up if he stays. Hopefully the Titans have Cook working with Frank Wycheck to improve his blocking!

They can't win 10 in a row. There best player and not so secret weapon doesn't play there anymore and the team as suffered because of it. Everybody talk about how the team wouldn't play any different without him but I think we can see now how much he meant to the team. Without Brandon Jones the Titans are just another below average team and 10 wins are out of the question.

You mean their most over-rated player doesn't play there anymore? Because although Haynesworth is good, over-rated is exactly what he was. Yeah he could play great, but he took a LOT of plays off. And gee he really is tearing it up in Washington - with his amazing ZERO sacks this season.

Brandon Jones was never a big part of their offense. He got injured a few years ago (playing against the 49ers actually), and he was playing scared for awhile after he came back. They lost some confidence in him and he slipped a bit down the depth chart. Until this year, they haven't really thrown to any WR very much - so he had even fewer opportunities.

Why? What is he supoosed to say, "well this season's over. Really I'm just focusing on not getting hurt and getting my bonus for going to Hawaii."

That, or the winning streak starts after his team gets a beatdown from the 49ers.
