The NFC Is a Trash Heap (good for us)

Outside of MIN and NO, this conference is garbage.

I strongly believe that the wild card teams will have 8 or 9 wins -- maybe both.

1. Philly has the toughest remaining schedule in the NFL
2. The Giants are in a death spiral
3. Bears can't block, can't play D
4. Green bay can't block, can't play D
5. Dallas can't win in December

The only real wild-card contender that is decent is Atlanta, and even they fail to show up at times.

We can go 6-2 for the rest of the season (this team finishes strong), we play weak opponents (outside of 3 wild card contenders and Arizona).

If we ensure that we keep tie-breakers over the other three by beating them, we can be a 9-7 wild card team.

Remaining Schedule:

CHI - not a hard game to win. We're looking in the mirror: sh*tty O-line, injured defense, want to run the ball but can't.
@GB - They lost to the Bucs! The Bucs! Can't block anybody and can't play defense...very overrated
JAC - An AFC garbage team. Stop "Pocket Hercule" and they're done.
@SEA - Tough at home, but should have/could have been blown out by Detroit.
ARI - Tough game
@PHI - ALWAYS play to the level of their competition
DET - No comment necessary
@STL - No comment necessary

49er fans need to stop being so pissy. We haven't been getting the breaks and we've lost because of it. We won't always miss the breaks, this ship will turn!
Let's just win a game before we talk about playoffs.

Good point tjd. Good point.

I just don't understand fans who type in a schedule with "W" and "L" when we can't win one single freaking game.

Right now kids -- consider them all "L." We cannot win a game with the clown at QB. The QB who engineered three wins is riding the pine because he had a couple of poor games.

We're in major trouble. We're gonna wind up losing a lot of games again this year kids.

Oh -- one more thing: The Cards are 5-3. The NFC is anything but a trash heap.
Niners are part of the NFC garbage. How can we clown other teams that just have one less win than the Niners do. Time for reality

Riding a defense that WAS performing at an elite level is "engineering" a win?

The caliber of play on the O-Line and on the Defense has fallen off dramatically since the Atlanta game. Hill would have lost the Arizona and Seattle games with this defense.

My point is that all the other teams contending for wild cards in the NFC are just as sh*tty and full of holes as we are.

There is no mountain to climb, just a trash heap.

this
Its tough to make they playoffs when you don't win
There is no way a wildcard is going to go to a NFC West team. If the NFC is a trash heap, then the West division is at the bottom of that trash pile.

We were owned by the 1-5 titans if that doesn't sink your ship
You forgot Atlanta they are pretty good.
Falcons probably are gonna wrap up one of the wild cards. We need to hope that Philly/NYG/GB keep losing if we want to have a chance at the other wild card. Could definitely happen, but we need to start winning first.
