Wonderful! Maybe Kam won't own us anymore.

Thank you for everything, Vernon.

So much this.

Vernon was a great Niner. Deserves to be respected by the organization and fan base for what he contributed over 10 seasons.
Gonna miss good Vernon, but bad Vernon has made me resent him as a player sadly. Wish he tried harder the last two years.

I loved Vernon in his prime so I wish him the best. But he is a terrible fit for any Manning/ Kubiak offence. He is way to "slow" to learn their offence and contribute this year IMO. He was always the one Alex would have to shift around and get him in the right position when we would have a new offence. I can't see Manning having any trust in him for a long time.

not sure about greatest but top two, yes. we should not judge him on the last year and a half,, you want to be mad,, think of all the wasted f**king years with sing and nolan when gore, willis, vernon were at the TOP of their game and we pissed it all away .3 great cornerstones .... THATS the time frame we really should be mad at in my opinion.

I'm guessing we'll see the best Vernon ever now that he's playing with a legitimate QB

Good luck to Vernon Davis. Thank you for the memories. Always a Niner.

He stopped being a 49er when he put his "brand" before the team. His brand appreciates your good wishes, though it would prefer you send cash.

His best skill was his speed and right now he's slow.

I would say he is the greatest TE in 49ers history. What he did in the playoffs for us was amazing. Not to mention he leads all receiving categories for a TE in niner history. I know the last two years he was a dud, but I think he will offer Denver something. Good luck to him.

i know the catch was amazing and is what people remember,, but you know the amazing play vs carolina where he slid his foot in the end zone was pretty impressive to. that game makes me sad,, it was the last great game we had with all of our guys playing. i have few memories of the next game as bowmans horrid injury clouded it all for me
Gonna miss Vernon in Madden...has been my only weapon all these years against these high powered teams.

but also going to miss him on the team..... I think he'll do great on the Broncos.

He played well versus the Packers in that cold weather game....so I wonder if he'll do the same come playoff time for the Broncos.

Also the Broncos are usually one of the teams I root against...actually been I've hated their teams since the Terrelle Davis years... but I'll be pulling for Vernon in the playoffs.

It disgusts me to see so many fickle fans saying they're glad to see Vernon gone. He had a back injury last year that he tried to play through on top of all the Harbaugh backstabbing from the FO and Ray McDonald legal drama and bashing the team got from the media every week.

Personally, I would love to see him come back to Levi's for Super Bowl 50 and light up the NFC team with Manning passing to him since we're sure as hell not going to be in it.

For the Niners, this is just the beginning of another dark age.

Maybe, but he is still a rookie. He doesnt have the frame that gronk has, that guy is thick. bell does not look anywhere near as big as gronk. I like bell, dont get me wrong, i just dont think he is going to be like that. he looks more like coby fleener.

Bell dozer! Lol well let's see what he can do now
