He'll do just good enough in denver and all the i told you so's will come out.

f**k this a*****e.

Not after Singletary coached him up. He was all about the team. Kaepernick and his "me first", "me against the world", kiss my bicep bs killed any resemblance of teamwork and class that Alex, Frank and Vernon, and Patrick Willis built up even before Harbaugh got there.

I don't blame Vernon for checking out with all the front office drama last year ending in Harbaugh being booted out on top of the Ray McDonald case and Aldon Smith suspensions that hung over the team like a storm cloud. While most fans just wanted to see players like Vernon go all out and didn't care if he got killed trying to catch a ball over the middle, none of the players last year seemed to play with much heart. All the early retirements spoke volumes.

This p***y quit long before any of those things you just named.

Please, Brent Jones didn't take 1-1/2 seasons off because his feelings got hurt over a contract or whatever Davis' problem was...you can talk about the QBs that threw to Jones, while I can point to very different rules in place now that favor the passing game. Brent Jones left it all out on the field, and no one ever questioned his heart...Davis cannot say the same of his time with the 49ers. He was a great player at one time, but better than Jones? No.

And that's why I said Brent was my favorite. I was simply stating that the case for VD.
Goodbye p***y.

I can't even begin to remember how many times I watched this video. Never been more excited for a draft pick (.... other than Alex Smith).

It was fast and total in the nature of the tear down.

February of 2013 we were in the SB. That's just 2.5 years ago....it's all unbelievable.

I'm telling you now and before...Its all 100% Trent Baalke's FAULT. He wrecked 4 straight DRAFTS! 4 Straight and not one impact player????

For the record, Brent said Vernon was better than he ever was. That's his opinion.

Gonna miss good Vernon, but bad Vernon has made me resent him as a player sadly. Wish he tried harder the last two years.

I blame dysfunction of the organization the past year and a half. He sure tried hard from 2010-2013. And don't forget that playoff game against the Saints.

Yet another good player that didn't want to play for this disaster of a sinking ship. Watch a noodle armed Manning make with a good coach calling the plays make him a superstar again. It's amazing what a competent front office like Denver's can accomplish. Imagine how many super bowls we could have won if our FO pulled off some trades mid season when we were missing a speedy WR or shutdown corner or a decent OLineman to replace our injured ones?

Yup, pretty much sums him up. A physical specimen but to stupid to realize he should've gone out of bounds and save a timeout.

Best TE in SF history...no need for that.

Well, Brent Jones comes close, but he's definitely a great TE minus last year and a half. Best of luck VD. I hope you get a ring with the Broncos.

I might be wrong because it's been 10 years but wasn't his very first NFL catch a TD against the Cards?
