All of a sudden everyone misses vernon when everyone was asking for him to be traded lol

this fan base is fickle haha.

no, usually the most vocal are the most negative..... be it players, politicians, games, etc.

so most of these people maybe didn't just feel like commenting when folks were bashing Vernon.

Damn we practically got a 7th round for him

This is what I thought too. We may move up 5 spots from our 7th round pick and we pick up a future late 6th round pick. Not a huge difference between that and a 7th round pick from a team picking in the middle of the round.

Enough with the slow talk.

Vernon was clocked as has first and third fastest measured speeds for a TE this season.

How much more speed does he need? Stop it.

Davis has great straight line speed but is a horrible route runner and coming out of breaks.his speed is average when running any route except something deep.

that's why I say Baalke is a Moran... not having any plan on signing Vernon after the season, we shoulda traded him during the draft because he had more value then..

nstead, he rolled the dice that by the 9th game, Vernon would be leading the team with 10 TDs, if not all TEs and then would shop him around still..

one thing he forgot, is that we have KAEPERDINK as our QB!!! how the heck can Vernon have 10 TDs with him at QB??

LOL 2013 vern had 13 td's with kap at qb. They kept him cause they thought they could win, the goal is to win.

you keep bringing up 2013... that's way over buddy... 2014, did you not see how Kaep and Vernon played??

the 2015 draft was the perfect timing to get rid of him, instead, Baalke rolled the dice that Vernon would have a great 1st half of the season and will have more value.. and even if you agreed w/ Baalke's theory..

GUESS WHAT????

two 6th rounders (2016 & 2017) for your boy how caught 13 TDs in 2013..
Gonna laugh if vernon still has stone hands and alligator arms.

hey, this is a given. Dude, Manning isn't sending that ball more that 15 yards from scrimmage. Safeties will be lining him up Chancler/Goldson style all game

I'll only watch game highlights, if he makes it on there, I'll get to see what he does. Other than that . . . . cant stand watching two other teams play.
I'm probably biased because I haven't been a big fan of his the past few years, but his comments about the team are ridiculous.

First, he blames his lack of success on the team's lack of success. Then he goes on to talk about "them being 2-6" as if he wasn't a part of that.

Apparently, he doesn't remember all the time he has been off the field, or all of the big drops he has had that hurt the team. Or just a simple lack of effort to lay out or catch any ball that didn't hit him square in the chest.

He is as much to blame as most other guys on the team, and I couldn't see Bowman, Bethea, or Boldin talking like that after leaving.

I was rooting for Manning to get a ring before he was done, but not now.
