the problem with crabtree wasn't that he wasn't producing. it was that he couldnt stay healthy to contribute consistently. on top of that, crabtree burned the bridge with us.

How did Crabtree burn the bridge if the 49ers offered more money but he picked the Raiders instead? If anything Crabtree didn't like how Kaepernick prepared/studied for the season/games. Since his comment was he wanted a QB who can make all the throws and takes football as serious as he did

crabtree complained about being a third option on some plays. i meant to say he burned the bridge when he turned us down. on top of that, he threw his qb under the bus when he got interviewed about joining the raiders

Vernon had a couple of good years. There are several other TEs I would've taken over VD over most of his career. VD always had a bad case of alligator arms, stone hands, or the infamous half effort. Manning makes everybody better but VD isn't a game changer other than he still blocks well. That's nothing special.

but after so many years as being the only weapon for my 9ers against these tough teams online.... tonight was my last night to be able to use Vernon online as a 9er.

almost every pass went his way, and he came through. :(
