I just feel like the nfl overall is not as good as it has been in the past few years. I feel there only a handfull of really good teams, a lot of mediocre teams, and a lot of bad teams.

I dunno, maybe cause i usually just tune in to 49ers football i feel football has been pretty crappy since 2002

It's just to repetitive . The bad teams are still the same . The mediocre are still mediocre .

Bad teams for 3 or more years now:
KC
OAK
DET
CLE
WAS
STL

Mediocre for 3 or more years now:
JAGS
HOU
SF
GB
ARZ
SEA
BAL
DEN
TB
PHILLy??
DAL

the teams that have Been really good or atleast playoff material for a while
NE
INDY
PIT
NO ?
SD?

I guess it's just the lack of suprises.
CINCY is a good story this year the titans last year but other than that

Philly mediocre the last 3 years? Weren't they in the NFC Championship just last year?

there are surprise teams ever year. i think the SF, SEA, and TB are considered bad teams. BAL, PHI, and DAL are the good teams.

I give it about another 6 to 8 years I think NFL will be Spread Offense Happy. It will be the best way for the crappy teams to compete against good teams. In reality Colts and New England are practically spread offense and they are the cream of the crop at this time. New Orleans are not far behind, I hate to say it, but a lot of records will be broken just because the amount of plays they are running and the leauge rules that favor the offense.

I agree, tend to enjoy the college game more than the Pro game these days.
The players have gotten bigger, stronger, and faster, however it feels like they are not coached as well as in the past. Everyone on defense wants to make the big hit but most of the time whiff. On offense there more focused on their TD, catch and first down dance then playing football.

to be honest I don't even go out of my way to watch the 49ers online anymore when their games aren't on tv... the NFL is just getting boring to me, maybe if our team was better and teams saw faster turn arounds I'd watch more..

I think a rookie cap would definitely help with that. If you miss on a top 10 pick, you're screwed for years.
