as a cal fan i'm biased.. i know.. rediculous
Im going to absolutely love the slow demise of Brett Favre at the end of the season, and him getting bounced hard in the first round of the playoffs. I called it at the beginning of the year, and its finally coming to fruition. Beauty.
Here's a new thread for MVP votes.

The other thread was created in the middle of the season. Most of the votes were punched in soon after the thread was created and I'm sure the following games had a lot to do with the standings. Favre had a couple of bad games, Chris Johnson was added late, Drew Brees had a bad game, etc...

If Titans make the playoffs, Chris Johnson..
If they dont and the Indianapolis Mannings go undefeated..then Peyton Manning..

i think manning still gets it because of his record and stats. yeah the titans revived themselves from an 0-6 start but that's there fault . they dug their own grave and i don't think a comeback in the season should depict the MVP trophy

Well there are a lot of Quarterbacks that are tearing it up this season..I just think Chris Johnson deserves MVP if his team makes the playoffs because of the stats he is putting up, and he's really the only RB that is doing what he is right now..Drew Brees, Shaub and Rivers are all having great years.. But Chris Johnson is leading the 2nd player in rushing yards (Steven Jackson) by nearly 380 yards..
If the Titans don't make the playoffs then I think Chris Johnson should be Offensive Player of the Year .
Vince Young though should arguably win Come Back Player of the Year award

Even If the Colts don't win out (which is unlikely), I still see Manning getting the award based on HIS stats. Jamal Lewis was so close to beating the single-season rushing record years ago and he wasn't even close in the MVP standings. This is a quarterback award, Chris MIGHT have a chance if he beats Marshall Faulk's record of most yards from the line of scrimmage.

Well ya I guess thats true..QBs have won the award 7 times out of the last 10.. (Marshall Faulk, Shaun Alexander, and LT were the others) Imagine if Peyton wins it 2 years in a row (again), and gets his 4th MVP award, (that'll be the most in NFL History)

Dude I wish Chris Johnson could win the award because he deserves it the most. I was wrong earlier in the thread when I said countless times that he shouldn't have been mentioned at all but that's just how the NFL is. They love them some QB's. I hate when college football also gives the Heisman Trophy to crappy QB's who don't deserve it.

Btw, I didn't even know the stat about Manning possibly having the most MVPs if he wins again, that's insane.

As much as I am rooting for Brees and was leaning his way, I have to agree right now
