I don't think their OL is all that great. We missed him a bunch of times near the sidelines.

Does the offensive line line up on the sidelines?

Im not Chris Johnson fan. To me he is not a top tier running back. He is gonna have few good years and then he's gonna be done. Guys his size dont last.

He's actually be about 40 yards closer if the Refs hadn't blown it, when they called back that long TD run he had against us. They marked him "out of bounds" at least 40 yards back.

A lot will depend on this weekend. If they get into a shoot-out with the Colts, then no he won't be running much. But if they try to keep Manning off the field, he may have a huge day against a Colts D that isn't that great against the run.

Um, maybe because he was out of bounds?

It does remain to be seen if he lasts over time. Right now he's amazing.

There should be no out of bounds room

Actually the last time I checked, NFL rules state part of your body has to TOUCH the line or TOUCH out of bounds to be "out of bounds"s. Just having a part of your body over or above the line doesn't count. Since his heel never TOUCHED the line, he wasn't out of bounds.

There was a replay that clearly showed his heel didn't touch. But it was explained to the Titans later, that was a television replay and they did not have access to it. However, since no replay clearly showed his heel touching - then there was no clear evidence to overturn the call on the field, so it "should" have stood - thus the refs blew the call.

This thread has jinxed him. He will wind up on IR a couple hundred yards short.

If CJ keeps up his consistent playing like Maurice Jones-Drew (another small guy), I think he'll have a good career.
The Titans Chris Johnson is taking the NFL by storm with his game breaking speed. This is not anything new for East Carolina Pirate fans who saw him explode in Greenville North Carolina. WOW!!!
