Does anybody know how to get a subscription to official NFL statistics, player, team and results data?
Or even an unofficial second hand or even third hand datafeed?
I want to start my own NFL database, and eventually a website with some dope reports

I think if that is possible that it would be extremely expensive if you were getting that feed directly from the NFL. I doubt that do that though. Just go off the offical stats on there web page. Licensing fees for NFL stats would costly. But maybe there is a way for real

that is presentation layer....I am looking for their source data. text format so I can transform and load it into any platform of my choosing
Maybe I should contact these secondary sites and ask for a datadump?

I know, I am also wondering what the general cost for something like this must be?
I bet there is a feed out there for smalltime consumers though, and maybe just a membership fee to that?

Just screen scrape until you get big enough to justify/afford some real data.

excellent suggestion, that would probably be the best starting point.
BTW, I envision marketing for bettors, and provide trend analysis reporting as valuable handicapping tools.
