Tim Ruskell as GM or VP?

So, ruskell resigned today, and he has experience, so if Scot gets canned should we consider or even hire Ruskell as GM?
No he seems like a homeless man's Scotty Mac.

I would seriously consider it..Holmgren was stripped of his GM duties and the team did much better & made it to a Super Bowl with Ruskell taking control of the team's front office. I don't know why some people are so hot on guys like Holmgren and Shanahan, I don't think their next steps will be nearly as successful as where they had previously coached.

I wouldn't like the fact that we are trying to tailor our front office to be that of the Seahawks.

The Patriots or Colts are one thing, but the Seahawks? Really?
Surely you jest!
Wow the Seahawks are seriously falling apart, they've lost almost every essential piece responsible for their Super Bowl 40 run.
Is this a joke AB? I really don't know too much about this guys' track record. and two thumbs down on Holmgren and Shanahan.
You know what Ab I feel like a football nerd, things like bad foot work and poor technique bother me, now mind you I played some and have coached a little, so that is my excuse...

Whats yours LOL, I mean you know the numbers forward and backward and track the availability of GMs, player personal gurus and other front office types!

You my friend are a football nerd of another kind, and I got to admit I like it, cause I can never focus on that stuff it hurts my head, I just read what you say and nod my head yes!

That is part of the reason he is one of the best posters on these boards.

Its not a joke the teams drafts and free agent signings really improved after Ruskell took over and the team made the SB with him as GM not Holmgren..the guy is being pushed out, and asides from last years 4-12 mark (imo because Holmgren knew he was taking a walk, his effort def. wasn't there for 2008) the Seahawks for the past number of years have been a very solid NFC team
is this a joke?

Holmgren built up that team, but the workload hurt his performance as a coach. Ruskell came in as the team was poised to make a run. Then they started to go down hill when his disitions kicked in.

Thanks for the info homie. and i forgot the team did make a turn for the better once Holmgren had his GM duties taken away from him. sounds like Mora might have made a play for a GM he likes better

Ruskell made some great picks for the teams defense and actually I think would be an upgrade for our front office
