Kurt Warner's Brain On The Line

Shop 49ers game tickets
As much as I dislike Arizona, I don't like the idea of Kurt Warner standing in against Minnesota's pass rush, namely Jared Allen with a cocky backup left tackle in for an injured Mike Gandy.

He had cloudiness in his eyes and sensitivity to light to go with the headaches just a week ago.

If Warner takes one hard shot from the backside from Allen, which seems highly likely at some point, all it would take is for the back of his head to hit the turf hard, and he would be right back to the cloudiness, if not worse.

I don't think he should be playing today. If he does, he is opening himself up for a career-ending hit, much like Steve Young took from the scumbag Aeneas Williams. Like Jack Nicholson said...

He is starting accord to Adam Schefter

Somehow, I get the feeling that whatever's giving you that feeling is not related to football intuition. I remember reading that after Kurt Warner's last concussion, he was throwing a lot of interceptions and was mumbling in the huddle, so other players couldn't understand what he was saying.

naw, we need jared allen to have the game of his life

Im pretty sure Warner wants to play and said he could. He is a Hof'er qb (not first ballot) and does have some say.

Jared Allen is the league leader in sacks. Backup left tackle is playing against him today. Kurt Warner is starting and is coming off a serious concussion that affected his vision. You do the math.

The backup playing doesn't necessarily mean the o-line is going to fall apart. Just look at what Barry Simms is doing over here for example. Though Warner has had problems with his vision, he's still had 2 weeks of rest. Who knows? Maybe those lights he's seeing aren't even impairing his vision very much a this point. I don't know, but personally, I don't like cashing in my chips so early.

You must have him on your fantasy team or something. I sense love of some kind.

lol I couldn't care less about him, and I don't play FF. I just don't like to assume anything.
