Outside of marijuana the owners won again

Such a narrow margin shows that even if it was voted "no",...they would've caved over the summer just like last time. The whole system of players desperate to get money NOW being the deciders needs to change by 2030.

Until then, it is what it is.

Owners also win on weed actually given they won't have to worry about players getting suspended over it.

New playoff format sucks hard!!!
17 game season and only 1 team in each conference having a bye is so f**king stupid. Good thing the boys decided to choke the easiest path to the super bowl ever this year.

Owners probably think the opposite, play 16 good games to make the playoffs and they get a home playoff taken away

Are rosters increased from 53??
I'm really curious to know how they're going to decide who gets the extra home game or away game or if they're going to make it international. Only one team having a bye week benefits the Niners because honestly, we do have the best roster in the NFC so that's not a huge deal.

Also you guys have to consider that a lot of teams are hopefully going to be in position to take week17 and treated like their bye week. So that's not a big of a deal as everyone is making out to be.

No question this will become a big issue. If some team loses out on a playoff spot and they lost their extra road game there will be all kinds of complaining. I wouldn't be surprised if they change this before the current agreement expires. Kind of a special election type thing. They know they are going to 18 games eventually anyway. Start the season in mid August and run into mid January. Give each team 2 byes to compensate for the extra games . SB at the end of February.

or start as normal. 2 preseason games. With a bye after the 3rd. HOF game on MNF instead of Thursday and have HOF ceremony on Friday night instead of Saturday (incase players want to go to it while being able to travel Saturday to their Preseason game). Then have every team Play that Sunday.
2nd week of preseason you do the whole Thurs-Sun thing. Week off for everyone. Then play 18 games with 1 bye week. Would be the same 22 weeks they do now. Start 1 week earlier if they go to two byes.

A free study on the trauma the NFL brings to the fans families and divorce rate. Also the degenerates who gamble the families bill money

No. Per Peter King:

Practice squads will increase from 10 to 12 players in 2020, and to 14 in 2021. Starting this year, 48 players can be active on gameday; teams will be able to borrow from the practice squad weekly to be part of the 53-man active roster.

So while the roster hasn't increased, the roster and use of practice squad has, and the inactive players on gameday went down. And it sounds like you can now return players directly to the PS after an isolated week on 53-man roster rather than cutting them and putting them through waivers (though like always a PS player is free to sign with any team).

2019: 46/53 active, 10 PS
2020: 48/53 active, 12 PS
2021-2030: 48/53 active, 14 PS

Can veterans stay on the practice squad? That might be helpful otherwise you just putting inexperienced players are rookies into the mix. I can't believe the cap increased only 10 million. I can't believe players approve that with the extra game
