That counts defense too. You got 1 tight end in what will be 3 years. You're obviously wrong unless you want to show me a great offense with no line, rb, wr, qb but a good tight end.

At Stanford he had one great qb and a bunch of late round guys. His highest pick other than Luck was a guard. Harbaugh has never developed elite skill players. Occasionally he'll do good with a TE like Ertz or Butt.

every single TE he recruited at Stanford is a starter in the NFL

U been so wrong on the niners that your only angle is attacking harbaugh in college even tho u dont watch college ball.

Sorry Commander, but kinda this

Not really...I had/have no issues admitting Baalke went from having top 5 acheivements for a GM over a 4-5 year period compared to his peers to falling off a cliff. Same concept for Jed as an owner. And now, with total control in Michigan, I can say the same thing about Jim. It doesn't minimize what they did achieve together here though.

Well if tj is correct the credit should be given to Shaw for Ertz and Toilolo as they were only underclassmen with Harbaugh there.

No one would question his ability to recruit.

Agreed. One thing you'll always hear about Jim is he is an excellent recruiter...very persuasive. He's got to be top 5 for sure in this area.

QB is a skilled position and one of actual impact. Harbaugh developed him. Nice try though.

So then Brandon Peters will be a future #1 overall? Just needs his guys because if Harbaugh doesn't recruit them they aren't any good.

Baalke was never Top 5

Harbaugh made him and his crap look good
NCommand trying to restore his credibility lol

I told you - no one will forget your love for Jed, Baalke and Tomsula. There's no coming back from this.

You're right...he never won Executive of the Year, never drafted any players or brought in free agents that helped propel supreme talent over a 3-4 year period, never brought in Harbaugh, never helped build the consensus deepest roster in the NFL, never orchestrated enough talent to make a Superbowl, 3 straight years to an NFCCG, etc.

It was ALL Jim Harbaugh. Magic!

Sorry, but that is just ignorance.

Did he s**t the bed after that and after he got total control and was made the solo man? Of course he did!

But do you not see the irony in this Jim Harbaugh thread?

I didn't know that every qb Saban/ Meyer/ Fisher or insert whatever coach you want ends up as the 1st pick. Is that how it works?

As big of a critic I am of Baalke.

He was the s**t after 2011 draft. What we thought we got was an elite pass Rusher and a game changing franchise qb. He won the exec of the year. That being said, it fell apart fast.

I don't think what you're saying is accurate.

It just so happens a every other draft was absolutely terrible and he ruined this team. But for a short window we all liked Baalke.

Agreed. He was excellent in tandem with Scott and Nolan and even solo for a few years but the more control he got, the harder he fell off a cliff and he admitted as much.

Forgive me if I'm seeing the exact same theme with Jim Harbaugh in Michigan right now.

If he's Harbaugh guy clearly he's gonna be great. Why limit the expectations.

Funny you bring up Meyer as he won a national title with an inherited qb who didn't even fit his offense. He's actually a very apt comparison to Harbaugh as he came into a team full of talent that was held back by coaching.

It fell apart fast Bc Baalke sucked. We would have been better off right now following any amateur draft board.

He absolutely RUINED our Sunday's for the last 3 years and counting.
