So does he go to Indy if they offer him the job?

I don't think so

Is Indy's roster even in good shape?

Still have many holes but they have Andrew Luck, a top 3 pick and loads of cap space. Not a terrible landing spot IMO.

Then he can grab this guy and start the next Greg Roman Empire

We know who that 9% is. LOL

It was a good ending to the year and obviously things are looking up with Jimmy but the best qb we ran into with Jimmy was Blake Bortles. Maybe Mariota who sucks too. The d is got a lot to prove next year.

I agree. But there was little indication that the defensive coaching or play calling was the issue. They were mainly personnel issues. Roman, on the other hand, made poor play calls.

We had Crabtree, Davis, Walker and Gore at one point with a solid line and Baalke managed to f that up. 2nd per play in offense that year too so there's no pretending we weren't balling.

JH begs him to keep Delanie. Nope he replaces him with a bust. Then since he couldn't draft a receiver he kept trading for old slow ones until the offense flopped belly up.

JH is no offensive genius but anyone can see the personnel blunders of Baalke.

A lot of pressure next year now.

The shine is coming off, he needs a big year

Someone was saying he recruited a big time QB? That should help...just needs that smart QB, an extension of the running game, timely passing and don't eff it up. Defense looks legit.
Harbaugh's defense is always legit, it's his damn 1960's offense that f**ks everything up.

And to think, the reason he was hired in the first place was to fix the offense and QB position

Saleh worries me still although it could just be him playing to our personnel. Played way too big to garner a real pass rush. I haven't given up on him but I hope we can get him a consultant.

You know I'm with you on this concern!
And this thread needs to get back on topic as well. Keep the 49ers oriented stuff in NT. Keep this one to Harbaugh and Michigan, please and thank you.

not beating ohio state and mich state has really upped the pressure on him and with the most recent collapse. i think fans still like him but the media is actually holding him accountable. i could not believe iowa beat them last year in iowa city . they may be young kids but even they may be starting to roll thier eyes at his rah rah schtick., i do not watch much college fb but when i saw his presser after the bowl loss,. he looked just like he did in our 8-8 year, deer in a head light. glazed look. and has no answer to losses,. and suddenly his little catch phrases are no so cute anymore

http://www.cleveland.com/osu/2018/01/urban_meyer_ranked_behind_jim.html

ESPN had 45 members of its NFL staff list five head coaching candidates who aren't currently NFL head coaches.

Ohio State coach Urban Meyer made the list. But he finished at No. 13.

Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh is at the top, although he told reporters after Monday's Outback Bowl loss that he isn't going to the NFL. Alabama coach Nick Saban is No. 4.
Those two have been NFL head coaches before going back to college.

The other college coaches in the top 15 are Washington's Chris Petersen (No. 10), Washington State's Mike Leach (No. 14) and Clemson's Dabo Swinney (No. 15).
We're not likely going to see any of those six coaches in the NFL next season.

But it's interesting to see that Meyer isn't as highly regarded as Harbaugh and Saban in the eyes of people who cover the NFL.

Vast majority of systems in college won't work at all in nfl

I actually think Kirby Smart on Georgia might have the best nfl potential
