A report surfaced this morning with Wilton Speight saying Jim Harbaugh didn't want him to eat chicken "because it's a nervous bird"@WoodsFootball did some investigative journalism and his findings could turn this into #ChickenGate https://t.co/FOnSa8Otch

i was a big JH fan, you can look up posts from 2 years ago, and i was still on his bandwagon. but he's fell off. finishing 3rd or 4th in your conference, when you are one of the highest payed coaches in all of football, it not winning. i still wish we didn't fire him, but i'm not gonna act like he's doing great right now.

"Is this the year Michigan finally gets great quarterback play under Jim Harbaugh?"
"If Michigan had gotten strong quarterback play against Iowa and Ohio State, it would have been undefeated going into the Big Ten Championship Game."
"Harbaugh has turned around a program that floundered in mediocrity for nearly a decade, but in his fourth year, he's expected to win big games and bring trophies to Ann Arbor. If this talented group of quarterbacks can't get it done, Michigan will fall short of expectations again."
You think Wilton Speight and John O'Korn are a little salty?
1)Shea Patterson
2)Dylan McCaffrey
3)Joe Milton

Is this Harbaugh's last season before he begins to burn people out?

He's already burning people out (administration wise). The kids role through at a frequency where it's less of an issue.
He's fired Drevno (who should have never been an OC), but a major part of playcalling issues were related to JH's preferred call in system (everyone checking everything).
With that said, I don't see too much of an issue regarding his seat until a new contract is requested... Then, then expect JH temper tantrums and people wondering if they might want to go a different direction.
Fact is, Harbaugh was doing a lot of "program advertising" activities with some of the travel episodes. I can imagine UM being a bit uncomfortable with that approach given their administrative culture is more stuffy than USC's or ND's.

How would you guys have felt if Harbaugh drafted Jimmy in 2014 after having met him pre-draft and started him over Kap late in the season complete with the shoulder pad pounding?

May have been a very good thing. I'm uncertain how successful he would have been receiving a play with three seconds left on the PC... or have Roman as an OC...
Sooo, ya, would shoulda coulda... but, last I checked, the Defense had a lot more to do with the 49ers success then the offense outside of Gore.
He's doing better than Hoke and UM... but, so would a lot of coaches. I could arguably name every Pac12 coach as a superior to Hoke outside of Edwards... Even then, all Edwards has to do is let his staff run the show to be a superior candidate.

I'm thinking this time he'll bring Pep to the NFL, unlike last time he went to the NFL, he couldn't bring David Shaw with him. I think he could have gone to the NFL Bears this year, but he'd probably have a lack of control. With a national championship (good chance for that this year) he can write his ticket to a bottom feeding team next year. Cleveland Browns? Hopefully he'll have total control of his new ball club the way Kyle Shanahan has now with the 49ers, and how Jim has total control over U of M right now.
It's too bad that trade to Cleveland didn't go through.
Tomsula could have had two more #1s on the DL to get to Wilson.

The guy is a flaming weirdo. It is not an act I don't believe.
LOL off this one.
Jim Harbaugh said he let the cobra bite him on purpose because snake venom gives you the quickness and tenacity of a cobra. https://t.co/FPDrUMP05c

"People are ridiculous on Harbaugh. There is no nuance on Jim Harbaugh. So everybody's like, Harbaugh's on the hot seat," Cowherd started. "OK. You know what I believe in life: What did you inherit? As a president, as a football coach, what did you inherit? Brady Hoke was 6-10 in the Big Ten the last two years he was at Michigan. That's not even middle of the pack. He was crappy by Big Ten standards, and he was routed seven times in two years in a half-filled stadium. Every third game, Michigan was getting destroyed. 20, 18, 34, destroyed. So they were below average in the conference — I don't want their overall record — below average in conference, getting routed every other game."
"Jim Harbaugh's first year, he goes 10-3," Cowherd said. "He was the craziest play in college football from going 11-2. One play. I don't even know, do we have the play? He was one play against Michigan State, final play of the game, from going 11-2. The following year, he goes 10-3. He loses on the last play in overtime to Ohio State or he would have been 11-1 and going to the playoff.
"So in review, crazy Jim Harbaugh, who everybody thinks is underachieving, two plays in his career. Last second plays. Against rivals, bowl teams, good teams, Michigan State, Ohio State," Cowherd said."
"Now at Michigan he's 28-11 overall, 18-8 in conference, but he's been bad against the rivals, right? 1-5," Cowherd said. "He's come within one punt play his first year of being 11-2. One play, against their rival. He's come another play, second year overtime to Ohio State, from being 11-1 and going to the playoff. Folks, can we have a little context? He took over a mess. They were 6-10 the previous two years in the Big Ten and been routed seven times. Harbaugh, last year the quarterback situation unraveled, and they were bad in the last month. It happens."

I love how people create the idea like he is doing so bad.
Similar here, it's like we choose conveniently to forget pre-Harbaugh.. How we defended Baalke instead of the guy who actually was working and not under a desk like our gm was. Yet conveniently forget how the franchise's were prior.
P.s Context is needed, I know it's much more convenient to prove a point with out it but when we deal with facts. He is doing better than any of the prior coaches, similar to the 49er situation so many choose to ignore conveniently.
Let's be real baalke could be labeled a seaturd spy while the other coached up the players. You think Michigan's loaded roster is a coincidence.
Fun fact, year 4 over 90% of the players or roster out there this year, is Harbaugh's recruiting.
Agenda much?
