Remember when we were ready to give up on Alex? He didn't have a Qb at Michigan and minus the flags Michigan went to double overtime with the other school..

His defenses are elite but without a Qb or running backs for his offense it won't work.

Michigan should have a Championship in the next 2-3 years. I am still sticking with my prediction if the refs allow it.

The recruits are starting to come and he just snagged a 5 star kid from Oklahoma. The best Safety in the country and is taking recruits away from Saban.

Defenses wins Championships right?

Just give him 2-3 more years.

2-3 years go by.

He just needs 2-3 more years to get his guys in.

If we don't then I'll be the first one to eat crow and admit he cannot win the big game.

He has been there 4 years and has recruited 3 years. We fail to see how these programs were prior Harbaugh.

90% of the roster is his now. I said this along time ago but like every thing else around here that doesn't get highlighted. Every one loves knocking him but fail to see every program college of nfl were garbage prior Harbaugh.

Why wouldn't I give him the benefit of the doubt? Wouldn't you rather compete every year than not have a chance at all or go through droughts like most teams?

I remember when we went 8-8 and posters lost it, the sky was falling. 8-8 looks great right about now.. I rather compete yearly. Competition leads to winning.

If he doesn't win it in 2-3 years with his roster... Then it will be hard to argue.

Not Once I heard anyone say... That gamble Harbaugh took with Alex Smith was great on his part.. The front office left that for him to decide. Everyone including me was ready to move on from Alex Smith during a f**king lockout..

What if Alex Smith failed, he would have been fired.. He doesn't get the credit he deserves. Is he the best coach. No but he is a great coach with a great body of work with a resume. Yes.

It doesn't mean I believe he is a god because I respect his decision making and coaching resume.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/904432-san-francisco-49ers-coach-jim-harbaugh-turned-alex-smith-around-how

"In the past several years of Alex Smith's career he had become the butt of jokes, the target for fans to spit out venom and bile at and the center of the blame for the 49ers poor performances."

"New coach Jim Harbaugh announced that the San Francisco 49ers would have Alex Smith as a quarterback after the lockout of 2011 ended.

Pundits rushed to their keyboards to announce his ignorance and foolishness. Fans went into apoplectic snits. People excoriated both Harbaugh and Balke for such a poor decision. Everyone, yours truly included, hopefully predicted another losing but building season."

Member??? I will never forget that move.. There's an article stating the front office left it for Harbaugh to decide.. Alex Smith fans should be thanking Harbaugh but they don't.. I see how underrated he is. He doesn't get the credit he deserves. It all started with that controversial move..

Saying he is underrated, is not the same as thinking he is the all time best head coach or a god.
You must have forgotten, he took the risk..

How's ol' Jimbo doing these days?

Still losing to any legit talented team. Still relying on his defensive coordinator to carry his teams. Still coming up short at the end of the season. Same ol, same ol.

LOL. OK...so groundhog day. Thanks!

Fyi. It was in the college football thread..

I remember saying if the offensive line continues to get better as the season progresses they will have a chance to win some games.. Haven't I been consistently saying they have the talent to get better? That 90% of the roster is Harbaugh's after 3 years of recruiting and 4 years at Michigan!?!? I remember being there when I posted it.

Progress anyone? but the Fanboy always spamming the thread with facts... Damn Fanboys these days with their facts... Who cares about progress and facts nowadays right?

All I can ask for is progress... If we beat Maryland and get Tariq Black our #1 receiver for the Wisconsin game.. Watch out..

Or We can go back to saying Bad Harbaugh Bad!!! For the hell of it?

Still spinning huh? You don't bother to read (Conveniently) when I stated the offensive line is Michigan's weakest point and if they gel as the season progresses the offense can be dangerous but you sure as hell know how to spin everything I say.

I don't need anyone to speak for me or don't need anyone to or haven't asked one poster to interpret my posts. Thank you anyway...

Is spinning your only trick in your posts? If I'm a fanboy with my facts in my hand then you are a one trick Pony Stoney..

It's true. Post something that shows the stats in all of college football and I'll be more impressed. Not just the 14 teams in the Big 10. That's quite a small sample size to get all excited about. All these tweets you spam have very specific narratives that make Michigan look better than they really are. It'd be like saying the 49ers have the best O-line rushing stats in the NFC West when playing in California in games starting at 1:25 pm.

Yet. Once again deflecting my statement on Michigan's offensive line early in the season conveniently...

It's like you highlight a sentence then base everything on that sentence.. If you cannot see the point I made then don't reply or block me. If you want to cherry pick my paragraphs for your false narratives or what I write and not be a little opened minded then don't reply or send subliminal posts.

This is not your personal bashing Harbaugh thread to get offended by Facts.

Create a I hate Harbaugh thread for yourself if facts or progression is frowned upon or if you are anti-facts. Tell me again about Michigan's weak schedule..

I don't know if Michigan is competing every year. Didn't last year. Is he better than Brady Hoke? Absolutely. Is he Urban Meyer, Nick Saban or Dabo Sweeney? Not close so far. So just depends on how you want to rate him. Problem is he's what the 3rd highest paid coach? Needs some ROI to justifty that. 4th in Big 10 wont do that.

If you think I can remember every single 8 paragraph post you make where you ramble on about everything and nothing all at once, you're fooling yourself more than you are about Michigan being a quality football program. You keep going on and on about facts. Most of the time you're confusing that word with opinion. Here's a fact. Michigan is 0-17 on the road against ranked opponents. Here's another. Michigan is 1-6 against rivals, and the one win was a 3-9 game against MSU. Those are facts. Harbaugh is going to find himself crawling back to the NFL real soon if he doesn't improve those factual stats.
