That team sure does look like Harbaugh team. It looks like a 49ers team minus Trent Baalke. In four years and 3 years of recruiting...

FWIW, I've generally viewed years 4-6 the true years of a CFB coach

Year 1 - win with someone else's team. Typically depends on how good a motivator you are

Year 2/3 - win with your schemes and someone else's recruits. This is typically where great scheme coaches take off as their strategy is implemented

Year 4-6: your recruits, your schemes fully implemented, no excuses. Gimmick scheme coaches die in these years

Let's get down to brass tacks. Does Michigan have a legitimate shot at beating Alabama, or even Clemson? Those 2 teams look head and shoulders above any other team in the top 10. Alabama went into #3 LSU's house and shut them out. That's insane.

When you have 8 rotating defensive lineman with little to no drop off and corners that can shut wide receivers down. It will be a very interesting game..

This defense is for real and this team is battle tested, with Tarik Black coming back on offense and Rashan Gary back from his injury on defense. It's going to be fun to see.

I would love to see those two offenses go against this defense on a neutral field.

This defense is not winning, they are shutting offenses down and holding them to career lows. The are embarrassing good teams and Qb's.

But it took Dabo Swinmey at Clemson 8 years to have a team that can beat Alabama...

I think they can beat Clemson. Freshmen qb vs their d line. Bama with a month to prepare on the other hand is too much.

Can't ever look past OSU though.

I don't think he can. But that's not a knock on JH, nobody is beating Bama this year.

3 more games and they are in.. After that it's house money.. I think they can hang if they continue to get pressure the Qb's like they are doing.

They are suffocating offenses.

DPJ has been scoring touchdowns. Nico Collins has been catching the ball and scoring.

Tarik Black is going to change this offense.. They have excellent balance. These next couple games look for Tarik Black, DPJ and Nico..

I truly believe he has the squad this year but it's depends on how much Shea Patterson continues to grow. Karan Higdon and that offensive line has become a weapon.

It's amazing what a good Qb can do for a team. I think they can win it all if they keep getting better these next couple of games. Those 3 receivers are going to be a problem.

I said it very early if they continue to grow it's going to be very hard stopping this team.

As a guy that Bet on LSU there is no team that is going to beat Bama' now. They are playing lights out.
