It's not pointless at all. Indiana will never beat OSU. Facts are certain programs can rise to higher levels. UM can't compete with OSU anymore. This has been the case long before JH arrived.

Why not? Its certainly not a talent issue. You could easily argue that Michigan has the better team overall. This is the weakest Ohio State team in years, missing their top player.

The game is still within reach but not if their defense continues to struggle as much as they have.

Let's remember this "down" OSU has 1 loss and a great offense.. Their best shot can only being handled by a few programs.

He's Marty Schottenheimer. He'll win you a lot of games. he'll just never win the ones that really matter.

But he beat Sean Peyton in the playoffs and Belichek in November. He beat Carrol at Standford with an inferior team and also beat him at SEA just not towards the end. Also beat many other great coaches. He has flaws, but lets not be ridiculous.

As far as big games, this is a big game but an NFCC isn't?

All along I have tried to support Harbaugh. But, as of today as proven in the Ohio State game, he just doesn't have it.

He only has one formula and that is to run the ball and play defense. Well, Ohio State shut down the run and their offense basically took over the game and scored at will. At this point, even Don Brown needs to get at least 50% of the blame, he just has no schemes whatsoever to stop Ohio State. Plus, Shea Patterson is garbage comparing to Haskins.

As for Harbaugh, he just doesn't have a playbook, if he has it can't be thicker than 5 pages. Once he couldn't run the ball, there was no playbook that he could open up to go toe to toe with Ohio State.

My conclusion is this, if Michigan is smart, they should fire Harbaugh and start from scratch because as long as Urban Meyer is there, Harbaugh will never be able to beat Ohio State. And if you can't beat Ohio State, you will never be able to win the CFP. In other words, Michigan is just wasting their time.
