Understood but Harbaugh took the 49ers to 3 straight nfc championships and a super bowl. I think he has shown he could do it at a higher level thus Michigan's AD is not going to fire him, nor they should. He should use his WR more. His tight ends burned him. Gentry 3 dropped passes, Patterson was off with short passes thrown as well.
The critics say he never sticks around after four years, now they are saying he should be fired? He is sticking around after four years and 3 years recruiting. The offensive line improved in one year drastically under Ed Wariner. There's alot of positives.

This offense with tweaking next year will be potent. Both Qb's are over 6 feet, both are mobile and have an arm.
The addition of a 5 star safety choosing Harbaugh over Saban is a huge sign of good things to come. If you rewatch, Shea Patterson was off with under thrown balls and the tight end drop passes, the dropped td pass..
Context is important also though. I agree he should open the offense at the same time understanding there were alot of opportunities on the field for the players to capitalize in on... It was 24-19 at halftime. The second half combined with injuries was a different story.
Uche didn't play the game... Winovich and Gary were dealing with injuries. The pass rush simply wasn't there. If Michigan was healthy they would have competed like the first half at minimum.
In order for Michigan to win that game or any elite team. They needed to be healthy. They needed all hands on deck, healthy. They simply could not afford to be down guys and play an elite team. Like I have been saying if David Long and Devin Bush get hurt. Michigan doesn't have that type of talent on the bench yet.
