Uf he beats OSU and wins the Big 10 it's irrelevant that Urban is not there.

I swear the deflection and false narratives are so pathetic... It will bever stop with Harbaugh.

It's sooo transparent how the media continues with false narratives. It looks personal at this point.. f**king Hilarious.. Just because you say it enough times in your head, doesn't mean it will become reality..

How many excuses for a pos like Urban Meyer but how many false narratives will continue for Harbaugh..

This society is so f**ked up meh..

I wouldnt think a QB whisperer would need 5 star qb's just to contend for a Big 10 title.

Context is very important. Everyone knew Okorn gave that game away. How many interceptions John Okorn threw last year against Ohio st? Michigan was winning that game. Michigan was winning that game until the 2-3 interceptions by John Okorn. Bad Qb play lost that game. Everyone saw it. It was no secret.

Okorn gave the game to Ohio st.. Wilton Speight was hurt. It was an unfortunate incident. Shea Patterson was Jim Harbaugh's best Qb and they made noise in his first year.. All Okorn had to do was not give the ball away. Rewatch the game if you haven't. It was very clear in the offseason Michigan needed better Qb play... Thus Shea Patterson transferring until Dylan Mcaffrey and Joe Milton (Harbaugh's recruits) can get on the field..

I'll answer your question with a question... How many 4-5 star Qb's won the national championship lately?

One year Jake Ruddock flourished under Harbaugh but by no means a championship caliber Qb..

As for as changing up his staff, from year 3 to year 4 changes were made to both programs at Stanford and Michigan that helped them step into the next level. Look at the changes of staff..

Many talked about Harbaugh not willing to fire our OC but we never gave him an opportunity to change or adapt..

David Shaw is doing a fine job.. I believe that was Harbaugh's guy? Fangio? Don Brown....

Saying he doesn't adapt or unwilling to make changes is a myth when you look at the changes he made from year 3 to year 4 At Standford and Michigan.. Drastic changes in staff that he made....

Another false narrative debunked. He is willing to make changes. History shows it when given the opportunity to...

It's just a nonstop endless stream of excuses. No matter the topic, there always seems to be an excuse why it wasn't Jim's fault. It never seems to be on him. I guess the guy has never done anything to truly affect his own fate. It's always somebody else's fault. Interesting.

agree with that as well. unless you happen to have a coach like Walsh or Beli, than that does make a bigger difference. but most of the coaches can only do as good as their players. even with Urban, he's not a great Xs and Os guy, nobody considers him that in the football world, but he knows how to recruit and put a good coaching staff together and manage a game. However, put Urban at Nebraska and he's also gonna have poor seasons.

Tell me about it. Georgia and Michigan are similar.. One gets slammed and the other gets praised despite getting blown out by LSU and having weak out of conference games..

Very similar programs this year but the excuses are pathetic.. One program had 3 injuries and the other didn't but the praise of one and constant bashing of the other is transparent..

You're incorrigible.

Coming from a person who laughed when I said early in the season this team was good...

I was bias early in the season, now I am incorrigible... Step down from there and lets have an open conversation without you being so judgmental...

How about that?!
[ Edited by Wu-5Rings on Dec 5, 2018 at 1:39 PM ]

Hey Wu why do you slam some on the media?

Really?!?!?! It's pathetic the attempts yet I get called an apologist or bias because I see right through the hate some media, posters have for Harbaugh hiding behind "oh I said he was a good coach"

Lame, a spade is a spade wherever.. ♠️
Reporters like Chris Carter should shut up sometimes because most can see right through the b******t..

The historical clock may be ticking on Harbaugh. At four years he hits his zenith and then things begin to unravel rather than grab the gold ring. We shall see if that is just the media reacted to history or if he can come back next season and get to the big dance.

FWIW Georgia went into the LSU game down their RG and were thin up front as they were also down 3 DL.

And you mentioned context earlier and how UM/OSU was close at the half. To add further context, UM was down 22 going into the 4th quarter whereas Georgia was down 10 going into the 4th VS LSU.

Without them playing each other this year, which is not going to happen, there is nothing to prove one is better than the other. It is all opinionated.
