Between Jim Harbaugh and Kyle Shanahan, I hope Kyle gets to the super bowl before Jim does. I said the same thing last year, if Gattis can bring the offense around with Shea and achieve great explosiveness - then the recruiting that Jim can do on the defense can really make this team a possible national title contender. Again, if Jim can get that national title - he can choose his place in any NFL coaching job that wants a new coach. Key is for Jim to have total control. He should stay at Michigan if he doesn't have the level of control that Kyle has at the 49ers. He's not in the NFL because UM is his alma mater and he has no plans of quitting. None. The he wants to be in the NFL is a figment of people's imagination. No one at UM is worried about him packing up. It's not like here where in Jan of 13 we were trying to trade him.

I agree that is one reason he's still at UM. But I think if he gets his national championship, I think he'll want to take on the next challenge- getting back to the super bowl and winning it this time. He's a fairly you HC, in a sense, and he's a competitor. I think he will want to out do his brother at some point. For him to get a national championship, he needs a good defense and a more modern age offense. I think what has held him back has been a lack of creativity on offense.

In niner land they complained he didn't run the ball enough, In Michigan he didn't pass enough.. 100% his roster this season. There's a lot of Monday morning quarterbacking. Let's see what Jim Harbaugh can do..

Dylan Mcaffrey and Joe Milton are serious. Michigan has the best Qb group in the country. Who has a better 3? These next couple of years are going to be fun to watch..
